A Small Team with Grand Ambition
We are housed in the Siebel Center for Design and are thankful for all the help they have given us to make our initiatives possible. Our current project is recycling PLA 3D printing waste into filament and is funded by an SSC grant.
Maker Network was founded in 2023. It began as a R&D project in Illini Vex Robotics focused on building Precious Plastic machines. This work was a continuation of Neil Pearse and the CU Fab Lab's work in early 2020 to build a sheet press, funded by an SSC grant.
